Talk about the Denver Broncos loss to the Kansas City Chiefs here. This is going to be short and sweet, because the Broncos have bigger fish to fry next weekend when they face the Pittsburgh Steelers at Sports Authority Field.

It was ugly, that's all that needs to be said.

In 09 the Saints lost 3 in a row before the playoffs and won the SB.

It can be done! lol

I really like this comment
The Saints also have one of the greatest QBs to play the game,

the best WR corp in the NFL, and a coach that plays to win.

Ah, but the G-Men and Steelers did not

Both were 8-8… 7-9? Neither team had a great QB at that point (Eli and Big Ben have become much better since then). Both teams had beyond stout ground attacks and nasty pass rushing defenses…. just like we do. If our D could just generate some turnovers, we could have beat the Chiefs today.

Something is bad wrong with Tim Tebow. That spark that he normally gets in his eyes late in games has disappeared here of late, and he better get his head right in a hurry or Blitzburgh will eat him alive. Decker has vanished…. DT, while coming off a spectacular performance in the month of December, was nonexistent today as well. The few times they did get open, Tebow either didn’t see them, or missed.

Our inexperienced passing game is really killing us right now. One more year of adding talent should do us well.

Just got back from the game... What you can't see on TV is...

A) All of our route concepts are DEEP/HOME RUN 10-30 yard routes. It took forever for our WRs to complete their route on EVERY pass play. Almost zero 3-step drop, short hitting routes, no routes underneath or safety flat routes. McCoy needs to fix his route trees and install a ‘dink & dunk’ type passing game.

B) Our WRs were covered like BLANKETS all day long! You wouldn’t believe it unless you were there, but Tebow had very little to work with all game. Decker, DT, Royal, and Willis need to work very hard on route running in the off season. Tebow doesn’t have a SINGLE WR that is a playmaker. (DT gave up a few times on the ball for no apparent reason).

C) Only one sack that we saw was on Tebow, came at the 3 minute mark, because he had a receiver underneath that was wide open but he had his eyes downfield. All other sacks were either coverage sacks or on the line.

Way to called it like it is……..+1

8 seconds to make a decision is not on the O-Line
agreed Kirk

even in these losses, Tim Tebow has had ALL DAY to throw the football. What percentage is his fault for holding onto the ball too long, or the wide out’s for not getting consistent separation, is anyone’s guess. Even with Hochstein subbing in for an injured Kuper, our O-Line was playoff caliber today.

Holding onto the ball today was mostly on the WRs & Route concepts...

At least that’s what my wife and I saw today at the game. Our WR’s can’t get separation to save their lives, and 2) the routes were Play-Action deep outs and posts all game requiring 4-6 seconds for them to develop.

When you only call ‘home-run’ deep routes, and you have a WR corps that can’t get separation, you will end up with a QB that holds on to the ball.

If nobody's open, he needs to throw it away, or take off.

He has the capability to do both.

Not all season

He has been doing it since Training Camp. He is waiting for them to be open by 5 feet before he will throw it. The separation thing is a myth, just like if the ball touches the WR’s hands it should be caught. And no, it doesn’t take 4-6 seconds for those plays to develop. 5 and 7 step drops don’t take that long to complete. If the QB can’t do a basic job of getting it there, you can’t fault the Receivers, O-Line or the coaches. It is because of these things that you won’t see any timing patterns, because Tebow can’t thread the needle—especially on a consistent basis. And it would be nice if people would quit calling for the screen pass and remember when they were complaining about it being thrown too much not that long ago. This Offense is limited by it’s QB and the play calling is affected by that.

That's what I was asking myself throughout the game

And I think it’s important to get that insight as fans. Case and point, Matt Flynn today??? Tebow definitely needs to improve, but we need to get a much better system. All we see is Tebow taking too long to throw. But if we had a view of the entire field, it looks like Tebow ’s problems are just a byproduct of the rest of the issues on the field.

Thanks for this ppost

It's a mixture of a lot of things

1. McCoy is playing it WAY too safe. We either run the option attack, the power run, or look for the deep ball… that’s literally it!!! Where in the heck is the screen game? Where is the short / intermediate game? I know Moreno was our best pass catcher out of the backfield, but you’d think Johnson or Ball would be able to replicate some of Knowshon’s screen success…. ohh, but no!!! Tim Tebow is so good at selling a screen…. are the coaches responsible for our air attack really that stupid? I mean, they can run with no problem.

2. Tim Tebow needs lots of work / reps throwing the pigskin. It’s no secret that Tim was behind in this dept. coming out of school, factor in no off season, and the simple fact that Tim hasn’t even started a full season yet, and it’s easy to see why. If we don’t see marked improvement from Tim about midway next year, it may be safe to legitimately worry.

3. Along with Tim, the WR’s / TE’s are as green as it gets. With the exception of Eddie Royal and Matt Willis (who aren’t exactly game changers, or even close to it), every WR & TE on this team is either a rookie (Julius Thomas, Virgil Green)… a second year player (DT, Decker)… or first year Bronco (Fells). I remember a time, early on in this season, where I thought we had the deepest receiving unit in football. Take away Brandon Lloyd, and it turned to dust. Decker has been the invisible man… DT has always been inconsistent…. Julius Thomas was either playing possum in the pre season or was redshirted.

Decker has been AWOL since he started tweeting ..

… about his sweetie girlfriend. Check the timeline out for yourself. He needs to get his mind right.

Can't blame the coaches enough for this one

Gonna need Elway to really look at the coaching staff this offseason. They’re not going to turn the mirror on themselves.

that 3 and out running BS on the Chief 49 yard line. Then the punt on 4th and 6 with only one TO left?

I thought Fox was trying to throw the game.

I blame the decisions to put withing FG range. Prater is a weapon, not a bench cushion.

That was Totally bad play calling!

Where are the short passes? Have they ever heard of a screen pass?

Play-calling was indeed quite poor

But “coaches” should be limited to offensive coaching here. And I feel like the “blame the coaches” card is almost too instinctive in the wake of one of Tebow’s worst games. I feel like the guy has lost a lot of confidence after last week’s disaster.

Agree on Tebow. His reads are always 2 seconds slow.

Sounds like Cassel.
Yep..

We’re in. That makes me happy and I’ll sure be watching next week.

Fox blew my mind today with his conservative style. That was unreal and so horrible. It will be hard for me to get over how bad of a coach he was today and many times this season. His work during the games is scary awful.

Fox does not call the offensive plays . . .

but he sets the philosophy and he also makes the calls to punt, send in Prater or go for it. A lot of play calling was questionable today, but the execution of the passing plays was ATROCIOUS! Can’t blame the coaches for that.

Pretty sure he's aware of that

He’s referring to the conservative game management..ie..punting when they’re easily in Praters FG range.

I don’t think a lot of QB’s would be good in this conservative style of play. Run, Run and a long pass play. Can you say check down, or screen pass?

We can Thank John Fox for it too!

Piss poor plays, play calling, and always has Denver playing from behind! He is the worst Offensive coach in the NFL and it shows. He is so predictable that even the commentators know what play Denver is running next.

Phil Simms said during the game

“Thats the 3rd time Denver has ran that on 3rd down” How sad is that?!

They run because TEBOW can't throw the ball to the good guys

the running was fine, but WTF with the punts?

Tebow can throw the ball...

Where are the BOOTLEGS?
The BUBBLE SCREENS?
The 3-step drop slant routes?

You can’t ALWAYS call play-action pass plays that require WRs to run deep posts and outs. Especially when your WR corps is one of the worst in the league.

AlwaysRight........+1
Please keep Tebow as your starter next year
As long as you keep Cassel and Orton
Will do

Cuz I’ll take both of em over what I just saw outta yours

Great keep Steve DeBerg and Bono
As a Bronco fan, this is a lame retort.
That made sense

Enjoy the Steelers. We lost by 4 with Palko running things. I’ll be shocked if it’s under double digits with the golden boy.

just give us a wr and we will be fine

look at what happened to the ort when bowe went out….good luck with that one

We'll be fine

7-9 with the patch work team I’ll take it. We got JC, Tony, and Berry coming back. And that’s without free agency or the draft

Good thing QBs aren't just limited to 1 game

Nice one, KCinIL.

I have to agree with you at this point . . .

of course, Tebow could still surprise me next year with a full off-season and TC. I will wait until then. I’m pretty sure we are going to get pounded by the Steelers on Saturday. We picked up some injuries today, too. Kuper busted his leg badly.

God that was terrible

Reminded me of Theisman. So ugly. Hope the guys ok

Have fun watching the Broncos in the playoffs!
Ha, ok

I’ll have fun knowing we came within 4 to the Steelers with Tyler Palko. It’s gonna be a blowout and you’ll be watching the playoffs as I will the very next week. Have fun with that. I’m out!

Guess you’ll be watching the KC game next week….Oh, wait a minute…that’s right. You’ll be watching the Broncos! Get the popcorn ready.

Oh I'll be poppin it

But by the time the popcorns done the game will be over. =)….ok now I’m done

And so are the Chiefs!

Done! Over! Out of the Playoffs!

Technically we have to be IN to be OUT

See, I’m objective

LOL…….Season Over!

With my head held high!

You think you can say the same after next week? Doubt it. But really, enjoy the playoffs

I can proudly say that the Broncos are a playoff team.

What can you say?

Ha, "proudly"

Oh man that was good. Words can’t even come back to that.

Well, have fun looking forward to next year.

Thought you were leaving

Your bridge needs you.

Yeah, i saw that too. Have you herd anything on that.
Just said "leg injury"

Which I didn’t get. Wouldn’t be suprised if we was on PUP but damn, I couldn’t even watch the replay

Dude was stout though! Did you see Kuper in the cart?

Looked like he was on the golf course, totally non-plussed.

Wow, way to suck into the playoffs

I hope this team quits playing scared offensively. I know Fox and Co have been beating Tebow up about turnovers, but he can’t keep playing scared

Players generally don't regress that much without some external influence (coaches)

Look we all know that Tim can play better than he did today, we’ve seen it. So lets stop with all of the final analysis. We need an OC and QB coach who understands how to develop a QB and a gameplan that helps a QB find a rhythm.

Steelers gonna smach the Team next week
Fixed that for you:
FINAL: Denver Broncos John Fox, Mike McCoy and Tim Tebow Fail To Clinch AFC West, On Their Own, Lose 7-3 To Chiefs
what the hell is with the play calling?

where were there any adjustments to this game? why would a coach put our qb into a situation like today?
run run run and when you don’t know what else to do….run….

then when you are down to 58 seconds you depend on the qb’s arm…..right…

we have made the playoffs but if the coaching doesn’t change it will all be a moot point.

I love how this team has played this year but I am completely mystified at the play calling…
who the hell is in charge of this sh*t?

what the hell goes into the weekly planning for the next game? looking at the how many yards we ran and stick to it? Isn’t that what we did the past couple of years but instead we were looking at how many yards we had passing?

Damn, does anyone know about balance?
oh, well we are in the playoffs but it sure doesn’t feel like we are in any way ready for it.
Go Bronco’s….

It's called having a limited Quarterback
oh ok, then the play calls were good then....
Tebow played terribly and the play calling was even worse
agreed Tebow played horrible

The offensive coaching and the conservative approach to the game stunk. Can’t we criticize all involved in this stink equally? If Tebow had a bad game, call it like it is, he stunk. If our playcalling and conservativism had a bad game, call it like it is, they stunk. Plenty of blame to go around, just call it like it is.

What we have is a limited OC

Where are the screens? We know Tim can throw screens.
Where is the attempt to at least try to confuse the defense. McCoy seems to think that it’s Ok if the other team knows what you’re going to run and it’s up to us to execute. This is unfathomably stupid. The best offenses rely on confusing defenses. We don’t confuse anyone or even attempt to. This type of gameplan would make any QB look inept, especially a rookie. It’s HS level at best.

That's what I'm saying......any QB would look bad in this offense.
Very few QBs would look anywhere near as bad as Tebow did....
Kirk, you nailed it.

Every time Tim went back to pass, we cheered and started yelling PICK. We rejoiced when he threw the ball. A Heavenly choir of Angels sang to us when Tim droped back. That boy needs a lot of work (and I think he’ll be worth it). You’re in the playoffs, so REPRESENT!!

Kirk - I was at the game. Your Receiving Corps (WRs & TEs) are EXTREMELY limited.

But so is the Play Calling & Route concepts.
When was the last time that our OC had the defense guessing what was coming next?
When was the last time our WRs and TEs actually made a play on a ball?

We need at least ONE go-to receiver… we have none.

You do realize that 6 inches is wide open in the NFL I trust

Tim keeps looking for guys that are 5 feet open like they were in College. I am saying that the play calling is limited because of him. We all knew that Fox was going to run the ball and try to shore up a defense that was last in the league. Remember, we are still recovering from lousy drafting and ignoring the defensive side of the ball for years. I think all in all it;s been a giant step in the right direction and to start playing the blame game is kind of a waste. I think many people seem to make their player evaluations as compared to the elite player at each position. That is not realistic. I understand there is a lot of emotion as a fan, but with so many things occurring in a single play, chances are overwhelming against everything going perfect each time. I also think some are discounting that there are 11 other players competing against our guys and that this is also a factor.

The way our team has played the last 3 weeks, I don’t see us beating the Steelers. That isn’t going to stop me from cheering for them though.

6 inches being 'wide open' is a 'stretch' for sure (pun intended) hahaha...

But I think you’d agree that Fox & McCoy are ‘coaching’ Tebow not to make throws that are only open by 6 inches. Particularly with a WR corps that struggles with making plays (this has been a dismal 4 weeks for Erik Decker, our best WR).

I think that while the play-calling may be limited because of Tim, the coaches are also missing the mark on not using what play calls they CAN make. Screens, slants, TE crosses, RB flats, etc have not been used at all the last few games.

Great coaching and play calling covers a ‘multitude of sins,’ so to speak, and I think everyone would agree that the coaching staff hasn’t brought their A-game the past few loses either.

That said, who would have thought after a 1-4 start that the DENVER BRONCOS WOULD BE IN THE 2012 PLAYOFFS!!!

GOOOO BRONCOS!

Here is an issue that you should probably address Kirk.

Through the TC, preseason and first 5 games of the season you have done nothing but show your disdain for Tebow. While I agree that not all can be blamed on the play calling, you are disingenuous to ignore the fact that we are consistently sending 2 wr out deep and leaving nothing underneath. While Tebow has a way to go he is a major reason we are in the playoffs. While some don’t give the other players enough credit, you tend to go the other way and lay all of the blame on Tebow, or so it would seem. Many people are beginning to doubt you and are starting to see you as only one-sided You have far too much football knowledge to let that happen.

Acknowledging that Tebow needs work is easy enough and is a fair criticism. But blaming predictable game calling on him when it is clearly a coaches job is beyond the pale. There was plenty of blame to go around in this one. Tim gets his fair share. But so do the receivers. So do the Coaches. We also are forgetting that this is a KC team that stonewalled GB just a few weeks ago. This was no slouch of a D that we played. It’s not because GB has a limited QB and no weapons. That’s a dang good defense and they deserve a lot of credit.

Two things, both on the coaches.

The hyper-conservative play calling has reached the point of caricature, AND where were the blitzes?! Both coordinators called their most conservative games of the year at the worst possible time. McCoy MUST go, and it’s Fox as well, Elway needs to pull rank. Now.

John Fox straight up wasted 3 hours of my time.

I do not support “Foxball.” I’m not going to buy tickets to the game next week or watch it live, but will DVR it so I can watch it on fast forward.

Were our recievers never open or does TT just need to have a go. John Fox is very boring to watch.
A little of bit of WR gettinhg no separation and Tebow having no confidence of throwing in a tight window.
agreed

sometimes not open, others Tim just wouldn’t force it

Playcalling wasn’t good today, but Tebow has regressed badly in the last few weeks. I just can’t this offense doing absolutely anything against Pittsburgh. It’s completely incompetent. The defense played better this week, but it’s not as if they were playing a good offense. They’ve exceeded everyone’s expectations by being 8-8, but they don’t really deserve to be a playoff team. For the Broncos to have a chance, the offense has to be miles ahead of what it’s been so far this season. Part of me recognizes how young Tebow is, but then part of me wonders if he’ll ever improve his passing any more than he already has. It seems like he’s hit a wall. Nonetheless, I’m glad to call myself a fan of a playoff team for the first time in 6 years, but im not too optimistic about our chances.

We may not deserve to be a playoff team

But no one else in the ather AFC West does, so I will take it, rather than 8-8 and not in the playoffs

This is truth

Not proud of my team today.

But if they win next week it won’t matter about today, and I can be proud next week.

Congratulations to our Denver Broncos!!!

The stink of losing three games in horrible fashion still won’t erase the great turnaround you guys have had this year. I’m proud of you guys!

Fox, you need to coach to win the game, if you’re going to lose at least lose trying your ass off!!!

Tebow, I wan’t the guy back that has confidence in himself and his teammates. You lost your confidence against Buffalo, but you need to get it back because it is a one game season now.

I’m excited for our team, just forgive me if I feel like shit for the rest of the night. Just like our team, I’ll be back and ready to root in force tomorrow, sorry that I can’t be more positive than that, but the truth is today sucked!!!

UHH...

I am still smellin’ the stink. I don’t think there will be any sudden confidence boost this year.

Getting in this way makes me feel ill, but we're in.

Could have been a very different discussion if not for that facemask.

Then again, could have been a different conversation without that Tebow fumble.

Ugh, what a terrible game to watch. What happen to that confidence? It’s almost like Tebow overheard Elway say ‘no matter what, I’m drafting a QB and trading Timmy. Of course he’s not going to get into any rhythm throwing once every 9 plays.

History will show we went from 1-4 to make the playoffs. GO BRONCOS.

I am so pissed...

there is so much wrong with this team and it’s coaching staff. How do you take a player with the college credentials of Tebow, 67% completion rate and turn him into a deer in the headlights player. I don’t know if Tebow has it or no,t but nobody will ever know unless there is a huge change in coaching philosophy or staff. John Fox and McCoy get the hell out of the way…hell, get the hell out of Denver. I hear the Raiders calling. If the Chargers fire Norm, maybe McCoy and Fox could find work there. One could only hope!!!!!!

Tebow was 6 for 22 for 60 yards

The team ran for 216 yards (4.6 YPC). Why would we want to pass instead of run???

I understand there were some situational calls and play calling that were just mind bowing, but overall, you don’t want a guy that’s passing so horribly to be passing more often, not when you’re running the ball at will.

The coaches get some blame for being ubber-dubber-ubber-dubber conservative. But Tebow also sucked pretty bad. I can sort of see why they didn’t want to have him throw more. At least for today. Not saying he needs replaced or that he’ll suck forever, but today he sucked. Today he lost the game for us.

Ahh...

did you see where the running got them. Geeze, you have to have at least the threat of a pass. Some blame..the coaching would have to improve to be moronic (defense excluded today).

I love the immediacy of your sig.
"Why would we want to pass instead of run???"

Because our run-game, as good as it is, doesn’t generate points.

It reminds me a bit of Kyle Orton’s passing numbers – they’re great, but they don’t translate into Touch Downs.

You are missing the point

When the QB is timid and passing horribly, why would the coordinator want to call more passes? This offense has not nearly enough short routes in it, but when they have been there, Tebow has not been using them, especially in the last 3 weeks. It’s not like the receivers have been blowing the coverage open every single game. There have been struggles similar to today, but Tebow was handling that much better when it happened then. Now, he won’t even play to his own strengths.

OMG - Seriously

People want to get rid of Fox and McCoy, if I told you that we would win the AFC West this year with a QB who can’t complete over 50% of his passes, how many of you would take that. People really need to calm down, 8 wins was 4 more than what I thought this team would be at, and to be in the playoffs, bonus, I think the coaching staff been excellent this year, give them a year to work with everyone, get some more talent, and we are looking at a very good team going into next season.

I wasn’t thrilled with the play calling today being ultra conservatibe, but in the same vein when your Qb isn’t hitting wide open WR, the play calling will become conservative, if Tebow had hit some of the early plays, I am guessing that the play calling would of been more open.

Fox coached like someone with no heart or balls. It’s pretty easy to be mad at him after that game. His coaching was an embarrassment. He’s made several game day mistakes, but today was just one after the other.

agreed

What about the TO’s on the defensive side of the ball, mismanagement of the clock has happened all year.

He was trying to save some time for the offense

I would agree in punting it with 2:45 was way too conservative, but I don’t blame him for the TO, had he not taken them, he would of been blamed

Calm down?

Being the idiot fan I am I will watch but believe me it is painful. You can’t tell me you enjoy watching this crap. They are in because the Bears running back (no longer with the team) had some major brain farts and a miracle in Miami that won’t happen again in 50 years. Not thrilled with the play calling…I am lucky the TV doesn’t have a shoe thrown through it. Oh yeah, and next year they get a first place schedule. Yeah, lets celebrate!

New OC

We need a new OC more than a new QB, I still believe Tebow can be the guy but I have zero confidence in Mike McCoy. I’m not opposed to hiring Norv Turner if he is fired. You might not like him as a head coach but you can’t deny his ability to be an OC, but right now I feel like anyone is better than McCoy. Also we need to fork out some cash and chase down Laron Landry, the D played good today but Dawkins impact proves a good safety is needed all year, And a true number one WR is seriously needed. I am not apologizing for Tebow, he played horrible today, but he has looked handcuffed these past two weeks. We have to get creative and play agressive.

Feels kinda wierd...

but as they say, the playoffs are a whole new ball game but if we don’t do better they better be a whole new sport.

Playoffs here we come…

GO BIG D.

Plus we get home field advantage!

We must be a really good team

I am just happy iget to watch next week on a TV instead of my computer, i can feel another day off coming on
Where do you live - Australia?
In Sydney...do you guys know what time it will be on (MST)?

It’s funny seeing people try to justify regardless of the situation.

Tebow looks horrible in the passing game with a lot of rushing yards; “why were we passing, let tebow be tebow! McCoy is holding us back!”

Tebow looks just bad instead of horrible, not as many rushing yards; “let tebow loose! McCoy is holding us back!!”

McCoy has held us back this year, regardless of who the QB has been
So why are we going to fire McCoy

He helped turn around the worst rushing team to the best rushing team in the league, give him a full year to work with Tebow and I am guessing the passing game will also increase, if we have the top running team and a middle of the pack passing team, I will take that all day.

Cant wait to see the next espn first take

The next argument between Stephen A Smith and Skip Bayless should be highly entertaining

Bayless is a shill trying to pass himself off as an analyst. . .
So is Steven A Smith
I guess there's a lot of those, but Bayless is just irrational

For him it’s all about “believing”. We’re talking football here, not Sunday school.

A 4-12 last year with a 1-4 start making it to the Playoffs...

call me a believer! And we’ll only get better next year!

Next week is not going to be pretty

I’d be shocked if we keep the game withing two scores.

I will either have a plan B if we're getting blown out, or a 2nd six-pack
MIKE. McCOY. SUCKS.
That is all . . .
I will say this

I am not sure if we will win next I will take our chances with the Steelers, they are beatable, hopefully the coaches go for broke next week. But with Big Ben being immobile, we should be able to hit him, we just need to attack the Steeler secondary and Tebow needs to have some shakles taken off him, to me no one expects us to win, so lets go for broke and bring the kitchen sink.

Exactly Bman, well said!
I agree that is our only chance
Sadly...I thought they would go for broke this week.

I was mistaken, and really have no hope that they will change next week……sad.

It's the only hope you have.
I can't quite figure out if

this team blows or sucks?

Reload or Reboot ?

Well I am glad I cant watch the game down here in AZ or else I would have to be buying a new wide screen, but I agree with Bman all the way….let just go for broke and throw in the hot water heater along with the kitchen sink

Well, I'm glad this isn't an "Orton exacts revenge" conversation

He definitely didn’t beat us. We killed ourselves through crap-ass playcalling and poor execution on offense…again!

But in a way, many demons were exorcised and the cosmic balance was re-aligned:

Orton gets a chance a starting gig
-Romeo Crennel gets another chance at a HC gig
-Broncos go to the playoffs for the first time in 6 years -
breaking a curse

What wide open receivers?

I only saw a couple plays where Tebow had guys open. Royal sucks.

The playcalling was horrible. Somebody here posted about their concern that mccoy previously said that it didn’t matter if the other team knows what is coming and that plays will work as long as executed correctly. That is the worst philosophy I have ever heard. And it is obvious from today that he believes it.

the broncos wrs still dont know how to use the extra time Tebow’s scrambling gives them, running right into coverage.

run run run run run bomb run run run bomb. Horrible. aaron rodgers would such in this scheme. And as today’s gb det game showed, a lot of aaron rodgers success had to do worth having multiple studs wrs. Must be nice.

Aaron Rodgers can make those throws on a consistent basis too

It would be nice if our QB could. BTW, comparing Tebow with Super Bowl winning quarterbacks doesn’t work.

I used to respect most everything you Said Kirk

Now all I see is you scrolling through posts finding comments that defend Tebow and bash him every chance you get. I know the whole game is his fault, everybody else on the team did exactly what they needed to, the receivers ran perfect routes, the d-line was smacking Orton all day, Etc…..Etc. Lets be realistic here can we? The whole dang game cannot be blamed on Tebow, we have more problems than that.

Your obvious hate for Tebow has gotten so bad that I hardly read your comments. You sure as heck weren’t commenting on how bad Tebow played when we were on a 6 game winning streak.

He's commenting to ridiculous posts

He’s being singular in pointing the finger at Tebow, but there’s too many people on here who refuse to admit the obvious: Tebow has regressed from the strides he made this year. He’s playing much worse now than when that streak was going on.

If he's regressed,

who would you put that on? Maybe all that McCoy emphasis on ending every series with a kick is bs, and bad for a qb. Especially if they are nagging him to only throw to wide open guys, with our subpar wrs.

So it's okay that all our problems were because of Orton

but when Tebow loses games single handedly, it’s everyone else’s fault. The Broncos have the #1 rushing Offense, so the play calling will reflect that. If he can’t pass in a 2 WR standard set, should the NFL change the game just for him? What is tiring is the Kool-Aider’s ridiculous expectations. If you want to live in Fantasy Land, go right ahead, but don’t try to throw the coaches, players, owner and Front Office under the bus because your hero is more limited than you will admit.

Ugh

Tebow lost this game single handedly?
I’m pretty sure that post just lost whatever remaining Tebow credibility you had left.

Comparing to stud qbs doesn't work?

No shit Sherlock. He is effectively a rookie on the second worst team in the league last year being coached by the guy with the worst record in the league last year, with rookie wrs. It isn’t his supporters constantly pointing out that he isn’t Tom Brady.

The comparison doesn’t work, but not for what you are implying (he sucks), but because he is a rookie with not even half the weapons or coaching of the stud qbs.

I wasn’t comparing him to Rodgers, I was pointing out that Rodgers backup was a stud this week, which is a clear indication that the situation Rodgers is in is a pretty good one for a qb…unlike Tebow-the implication being that it isnt all on the qb. Maybe Favre’s opinion about the good situation Rodgers finds himself in is a little more than sour grapes.

You are a hard core Tebow hater, and it is too bad because everybody has to take what you write now with a grain of salt.

It's too bad

nobody knew this when you were most people’s window into what was going on in training camp this year. Tebow might have had a better shot at playing with the ones and we would be further along this season than we are.

So in a way, we can lay the blame of close losses at your feet, and your biased reporting whose sole purpose was to show everybody he right you were about Tebow. Thanks for the kc loss kaptainkirk…I hope I was worth it.

Yes, blaming you is tongue in cheek, and only 20% serious.
