Tebow and Tiger?

lol

A hope only in media Heaven.
Holy.....

Another huge slew of Tracks! Thanks Tim!

Man, I hope We get to see Paul Revere’s statue decked out in a Tebow jersey. =D

That DP article of Fox was great

That was a great hire that Elway made.

" Denver’s 2010 draft, the last one that recently hired Patriots offensive assistant coach Josh McDaniels led for the Broncos, yielded more than just Tim Tebow. The first five players Denver drafted in 2010 all started Sunday’s wild-card game against Pittsburgh. Denver’s first pick was wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, who scored the game-winning touchdown against the Steelers. Its next pick, also in the first round, was Tebow, followed by starting left guard Zane Beadles (second round), starting center J.D. Walton (third round) and wide receiver Eric Decker (third round). Denver also plucked some other talent out of the same draft that will be remembered for the one that netted Tebow. Now, McDaniels gets to see each of his former picks up close and personal."

Say what you will about McD. This paragraph speaks violumes. His 2010 draft is a major reason Denver is where we are in the playoffs. Now we can hope that the EFX class of 2011 also produces 5 second year starters on a deeper playoff run.

It's true

but I still hate him, I hope you can understand and not judge me too harshly

Far be it from me to judge you Brad or anyone's opinion here.

Your football knowledge far surpasses mine. Now pull for the last sentence. :-D

Hrmmm... but no mention of the 2009 draft which was a near total disaster? shocking...
funny you should mention that
I hope your right about EFX but I must ask....Deeper playoff run??

I don’t think this year’s run is over. Please don’t think I am too crazy but I really think Denver can get to the Superbowl! I will worry about winning it once we get there and I know this is a young team that has little playoff experience, but I will take the odds! I really believe we beat the Pats and then beat Houston in the AFC Championship game. I just have that gut feeling and I’m sticking with it! Go Broncos!!

it would greatly aid our cause

if we and the Texans both win, for all of our success against NE, the Ravens have comparably owned us :(

I don't want to see the Ravens

but IF we get past the Pats, who knows

absolutely

what I’m really trying to say is Yes, I’d love to play in the AFC Championship Game and if we meet the Ravens, should that happen, we’ll do our best and let the chips fall where they may

To be honest, I want the defensive teams to win this weekend.

I’m tired of hearing about how teams are going to win the super bowl with just offense. It would be nice if all the “high powered” offenses lost to show that defense still wins championships.

Well

the Saints are an offensive team that will win, I don’t trust Alex Smith in the playoffs. However, the Broncos and Giants will both win, I say, because they are adept at rushing the passer and the Pack have lots of O-line injuries, such as Bulaga. That loss at Arrowhead for GB may prove quite costly after all.

I think if Frank Gore has a good game, it'll slow down Brees

I kind of view the saints as the new colts. They can score a lot of points but they can’t play defense. Also I view them as a soft football team. That’s why I think the 49ers will get physical with them and the Saints won’t be able to handle the smash mouth football. You eventually have to play defense in the playoffs and that’s going to haunt teams like the Saints, Packers, and Pats. Also the Saints are a different team once they’re outside the dome. This is another reason why I call them a soft football team.

that is definitely

a perception they have to fight, that loss to the Seahawks made them look really bad last year. We can punish New England though!

That's why I said I want the defensive teams to win this weekend lol. Go broncos!
One game at a time, .

Hopefully they truely believe.

All I'm saying is that I have that gut feeling

That both the Broncos and the Texans will win this weekend and we will beat the Texans. I have always been told to go with my gut so I’m sharing my feeling with everyone here :)

Well

if we meet the Texans in such a scenario, we’ll win, although beating Baltimore at home is quite a scalp to have on your belt. Let’s beat the Pats and go from there!

No matter what happens tomorrow

It has been a good season and the future is so bright, I gotta wear shades.

It has been a great season!

As to the future……..gotta hope Allen and McCoy stay.

CBS is gettin' a little snarky (and inaccurate)...
This is a rematch of a game played a month ago, which the Patriots dominated. They did what they wanted to on offense, and the Broncos couldn’t keep up. Denver looked better on offense last week against the Steelers, and the Patriots struggle on defense in a big way. They struggle mostly with the pass, but the Broncos and Tim Tebow don’t pass well enough. And once the Patriots get a lead with Tom Brady, the Broncos won’t be able to keep up. Tebow-mania ends here. Brady shows him what a real NFL passing quarterback looks like.

1) The Patriots didn’t “dominate” until the Broncos gave them the game with turnovers.
2) It was the Patriots that couldn’t keep up initially.
3) Tim Tebow’s 316 yards against Pittsburgh, 194 against New England, and 202 against Minnesota beg to differ with “the Broncos and Tim Tebow don’t pass well enough.” (Especially when taking into consideration that a rushing yard is just as good as a passing yard and Tebow chips in 50-100 on the ground every game.)
4) If this is what a “real NFL passing quarterback looks like”…

… then I’d rather keep my double threat QB.

they dominated?

statistically speaking, that is dishonest. Of course, I love this hit, Tezcatlipoca, keep your info coming!

Still, it's a narrative that I'm fine with, even being wholly inaccurate.

The Broncos can’t win. The Patriots are 13 1/2 point favorites.

Yup, you (mainstream media) go right ahead and keep on with that narrative.

We’ll find out on Sunday just what the Broncos think of that narrative.

I'll give them some A1

to choke down all that crow!

Believe him in or not as a QB......

…this article is just a reminder of why I find it so hard to see people rip on him as a person. And the author, Rick Reilly has ripped on him plenty before this article.

http://espn.go.com/espn/story/_/id/7455943/believing-tim-tebow

What a story! Thanks for the link bonaire!

It is amazing what this guy does off the field and the leader and role rodel he is for everyone. I wish I was as good of a guy as he is. He is truly an inspiration to the world. I love that he is our QB! Great story!

Well

you can be that good of a person, we all can be if we want it badly enough. Tebow is an illustrious template to follow and he plays for the good guys. GO BRONCOS!!!

Amazing read

No matter what happens this weekend, Tebow is a winner period. That stuff brought tears to my eyes……GO BRONCOS

Proud.

Man I love Tim Tebow. He is amazing for all the right and real reasons. I’m so happy he plays for my team. I’m even happier I know his story.

Probably the coolest athlete ever. Far from the best, but up there as the coolest.

Thanks, bonaire, I'm so glad someone posted this.

I read it before I stopped in here again and was blown away. Tim Tebow is a true inspiration and it’s gotten to the point where I don’t even know what to say when I read things like this, except “that’s amazing.” To give of yourself, not just your financial resources, but your personality, time and positive energy regardless of what’s going on in your own life is remarkable. I’m just so happy that he’s getting to live his dream of being an NFL QB as he does all these good things for others.

Here's the thing...

… Tebow and I do not share the same religious beliefs. That’s fine by me.

It really, really pisses me off though that people want to crucify him for one “… thank my Lord and Savior” per interview. Seriously? All the crap that NFL players do and that’s what you want to crucify Tebow for? If the entire NFL were Tebows, the world would be a lot better of a place. I think that “putting up with” one “… thank my Lord and Savior” per interview is an awfully good trade for the genuine compassion that Tebow has.

I'm with you....we don't share a religion either...

…but a good person is a good person, independent of religion. Tebow is a great person.
