The Denver Broncos will now have five representatives at the 2012 Pro Bowl in Hawaii next month with the additions of RB Willis McGahee and OT Ryan Clady, this according to the Denver Broncos official Twitter home:
#Broncos RB @WillisMcGahee and T @RyanClady have been named to the 2012 Pro Bowl.
— Denver Broncos (@Denver_Broncos) January 17, 2012
Mcgahee and Clady join CB Champ Bailey and Liinebackers Elvis Dumervil and Von Miller on the AFC Squad.
More Broncos could make the team in the near future as well. Quarterback Tim Tebow was a 2nd alternate for the team and with Tom Brady playing in the AFC Championship Game and Ben Roethlisberger suffering from a high-ankle sprain, it is likely neither will make the trip to Honolulu meaning Tebow will get the call.

Three words:
Goody Goody Gumdrops!
Davus.X - January 17, 2012
Not too shabby for a 4-12 team from last year.
SinDonor - January 17, 2012
Tebow should decline if he gets an invite.
They just want to sell the Pro Bowl, and thats partly why so many people hate him.
Zac Man - January 17, 2012
I'm sure Tebow could care less about the people who hate him.
I haven’t been his biggest supporter here, but if he gets the call, he darn well should take them up on it. Not just for his career, but it gets more people excited about Tebow ($ for NFL), of which Tim uses the limelight to positively influence more people. Win-win.
neumdaddy - January 17, 2012
Congrats to both although I'm surprised Clady made it after the poor year he had. He just hasn't regained his rookie year form since his injury and had a lot of penalties this year.
BroncoMath101 - January 17, 2012
Reputation counts for a lot.

If invited SHOW UP
Who cares about the haters!!1 Haters will hate regardless, If Tebow gets invited than go!!! 6 Broncos in the Pro Bowl is a huge improvement from the last few years. I love the direction our team is headed!!!!

Good job boys
bfree2bronc - January 17, 2012
Big Ben is going and taking his QB coach as his guest.
I’m not exactly sure why since he’s injured but it is a free trip to Hawaii so I kinda get it.
iBleedorangeandblue - January 17, 2012
I like Ryan Clady. I think he is a good player. Better than an average LT and the best LT in the AFC West.
But Ryan Clady is not a blue chip player and he isn’t a franchise LT.
He’s good, but he isn’t great. I’m sad to say it, but it’s true. I thought he had Hall of Fame potential after his rookie year. He doesn’t. Not based on his play in 2010 or 2011. Or even 2009.
McGeorge - January 17, 2012
He needs his hair back.
Zac Man - January 17, 2012
That’s gonna talk a while
McGeorge - January 17, 2012
As Tebow would tell you
being a Biblical scriptorian, Clady is a Nazarene, just like Samson, stupid Delilah cut his hair
the new Bradfather - January 17, 2012
Could it be he still hasn’t fully recovered from his knee injury?
KTJ - January 17, 2012
Nope. because he wasn’t a franchise LT in 2009 (pre injury).
Ryan Clady is a very good LT. He is not a blue-chip star LT.
McGeorge - January 18, 2012
Dumervil is a DE
Mike Agnew - January 17, 2012
Well deserved by both. I guess we can add Michael Smith to the group of “experts” on ESPN who hate the Broncos. How most of them even have a job is beyond me.
jbbroncosfan27 - January 17, 2012 via mobile
If Tebow does go,
they should put him in during Tebow Time which should be in the last 3-4 minutes of the game and only if the game is within reach, say down by 3-15 pts. Then it’s a surefire Broncos, er, I mean AFC, win and they’ll all get their litte Probowl win cash prize.
go4broncos - January 17, 2012
Willis!!!!!
Willis McGahee deserves the Pro Bowl after he ran over, through, and around opposing defenses. Great year from him and its amazing to see the Broncos getting recognized for a good season
RockShow719 - January 17, 2012 via mobile
Great year indeed.
Awesome job by the front office for getting him. He was a huge part in the Broncos success this year and he definitely deserves this along with Clady.
weazel - January 17, 2012
I'm proud of them!
However, I will not be watching, it’s just a matter of principle, I’m more interested in the game the week after in Indianapolis!
the new Bradfather - January 17, 2012
I hope Tebow doesn’t go. I love him, but he doesn’t quite deserve to be there (in other words, other people had much better seasons)… So if he gets the invite, I hope he declines.
scooter17 - January 17, 2012
LOL
so many players that make the pro bowl don’t deserve it……what’s the point. It’s called a pro bowl snub.
prototype - January 17, 2012
McGahee deserves it
Having trouble even remembering if any of our guys made it last year
Mike@4th&99 - January 17, 2012 via iPhone app
Incredibly happy for McGahee, he earned it
Though I’m a bit shocked about Clady, he wasn’t even the best lineman we had, though I guess it raises Bronco awareness.

Looks like Big Ben is planning on going….

Jezru - January 17, 2012
Which means if Brady makes the Super Bowl
Dalton will go since he’s first alternate.
Topher Doll - January 17, 2012
So who dropped out for these two to get in?
DaLostBoy4 - January 17, 2012
Adrian foster and Jake long
David Swanson - January 17, 2012 via mobile
You mean Arian Foster
Happy for both, but wish they were sure fire pro bowlers instead of late additions. Lots of room to go in the future for our beloved Broncos.
elwaytogo - January 17, 2012
the sky is the limit
and I love the irrepressible work ethic on this team while Tebow himself, is the illustrious impetus thereof, hopefully you appreciate the alliteration :)
the new Bradfather - January 17, 2012
I put Arian but ny stupid spell check changed it lol
David Swanson - January 18, 2012 via mobile
Dalton should decline...
oh wait, that would be retarded, just like the idea tebow should have if invited.
If you can go, you are a probowler, period.
Dont pretend suggesting he not go is anything other than your writing to avoid the idea of tebow as a prowler, like tebow as 1st rounder , tebow as 300 yard passer, or division/playoff game winner. This tebow hate gets harder every week doesn’t it?
TheMascotArmy - January 17, 2012 via mobile
I'm in the camp
That alternates should retain that label even if they go, otherwise we get guys like Vince Young going to 2 Pro Bowls because 3 other QB’s dropped out or Garrard and Cassel going after 2 QB’s dropped out. Being 5th or 6th in voting and getting to go is sad, while I like the idea of the Pro Bowl, having so many players turn it down is leading to lower and lower quality players going to the Pro Bowl. I mean if just one more QB drops out in 2009 Orton makes a Pro Bowl. The fact 2nd and 3rd alternates get the label or Pro Bowler makes me shake my head.
Topher Doll - January 17, 2012
I’m of the opinion that the only good part of the Pro Bowl is that the players get an expenses paid trip to Hawaii. Then they and the NFL spend some money helping out the local economy.
The Pro Bowl is beyond a silly concept as no one wants to get hurt and football has 32 play books that are none alike.
The All Pro team is really the only All Star NFL squad that should ever get mentioned.
McGeorge - January 18, 2012
I agree about the Pro Bowl being bad football to watch
But like you said, I do think the players deserve a break, especially since their families get to come along. I also agree that All-Pro is a much better measure. And while earning one Pro Bowl is pretty meaningless, I do think players who rack up 5+ Pro Bowls should be noted as a big accomplishment.
