Well
I hope Dawk and Spence can go, but if not, everyone needs to step their game up. Let’s pull off the upset, I believe!
the new Bradfather - January 4, 2012
WTF is wrong with Royal? He's always hurt. I think Dawk should sit it out, If he's not 100% he'll just hurt us
artistnyc - January 4, 2012
Royal
If Royal is missing practice he should not play. His performance at WR has been horrible.
rickets - January 5, 2012
We need Dawk.
His veteran presence, specifically being a playoff veteran, we will really need that on the field. Dawk, Champ, and D.J. Williams I believe are the only starters who have playoff experience.

the new Bradfather - January 4, 2012
Willis McGahee?
Or did you mean on D
steakman - January 4, 2012
Wow there are a lot of important steelers on this list who did not practice .
broncosfaninphilly - January 4, 2012 via mobile
I thought the same
But then again, it is only the middle of the week. If they sit out Saturday’s practice, then I’ll really be surprised.
PearlJamBroncoGFunk - January 4, 2012
A lot of our older veterans actually only practice a couple of days a week...
…as the norm. Its nothing like taking you guys lightly or anything. Tomlin does this all year.
Believe me, with all the injuries and OL configurations we’ve gone through this year, Tomlin and the vets are preaching the word not to take you guys for granted (Any Given Sunday is a cliche for a reason, after all).
Good luck to you on Sunday, and may both teams avoid injuries.
PaVaSteeler - January 4, 2012
Likewise!
May the team that shows they deserve it the most, come away with the victory.
PearlJamBroncoGFunk - January 5, 2012
I'm sure most of it is precautionary.
They figure this game is their warm-up to their actual playoff run, so they think they can afford to keep some key players out of practice.
Broncs4ever - January 4, 2012
Boy I hope this is true.
This is a classic trap game for them. Lets hope they treat this like the Saints treated Seattle last year. With the same results.
Papamag - January 4, 2012
if they want to be arrogant a-holes
that’s fine, we’ll end their season! GO BRONCOS!!!
the new Bradfather - January 4, 2012
you’re assuming that holding hurt players out of practice is being arrogant? Interesting…yet..not surprising…
FrankWyt - January 5, 2012
you missed what he was saying completely
one man referred that the team was doing this because Denver is a push over, and it’s more of a scrimmage than a playoff game, the other man is saying “well if that’s the case they are arrogant and arrogance usually lands a team in the losing column”
I’ve watched too many teams go in way to over confident. Many teams crumble. The Steelers tho have too many vets that have been here before, It will be interesting to see if they have that arrogance to them or not!
Broncs55 - January 5, 2012
I assure you, that’s not the case. It has more to do with the fact that they’ve been around the block, and can get themselves ready. It has nothing to do with who they are playing.
Cortland Finnegan had the same type of attitude about the Texans last week…not the case…
FrankWyt - January 5, 2012
Finnegan is a prick
the new Bradfather - January 5, 2012
I’ve never seen such a ridiculous conclusion drawn from a midweek injury report.
John Stephens - January 5, 2012
To backup your point:

“Steelers Denied AFC North Title But Should have One More Shot at Ravens in Two Weeks”
They’re already looking ahead to the Ravens.

Fans looking past a team does not mean the players and coaches are looking past a team

Michael Bean is obviously Mike Tomlin’s pen name.

vvps - January 8, 2012
And there starting safety Clark is out. It's a good time for Elway to come it and say to stop playing tentatively and let er rip...unleash e Tebow, unleash the Broncos...
Soonerbronco - January 4, 2012
We could really use
That famous Brian Dawkins speech when he was an Eagle and they played the Giants…“Can You feel that thang that’s beatin’ in yo doggone chest right now?” I’m getting hyped just thinking about it…GO BRONCOS
BroncosFaN88 - January 4, 2012 via mobile
I love that speech! We need him out there.
Pmoreno95 - January 4, 2012
Sure wish Von's cast could come off this week.....
I have no doubt that Dawk will play if he can, but I don’t want them to risk it if it may end his career in the hospital.
