I guess Mike Tomlin learned a thing or two from Bill Belichick, they don't need no stinking practice...
I behove Tebow and the offense to sustain some drives in the first half and starting the 2nd. It will be vital to get the Steelers defense winded for the 4th qtr…
bfree2bronc - January 5, 2012
He doesn’t force the vets to practice.
John Stephens - January 6, 2012
What is the deal with Polamalu and Harrision
I don’t expect them to miss the game by any means. But are they “hurt” (resting) or are the legitimately laboring through games on injuries serious enough to keep them out of practice. Surprised that they did not participate at all.
Tony Astorino - January 5, 2012
Apparently, they're being rested and are expected to play along with Keisel.
Not sure about Pouncey.
Middlesex - January 5, 2012
The vibe ESPN 32
was putting out today said he’s questionable at best, and starting to look like he will be a no go
Tony Astorino - January 5, 2012
It’s totally up in the air. He tweaked his ankle and pulled himself from practice. No one knows what to expect.
John Stephens - January 6, 2012
They are just small injuries and they are resting. Tomlin always does that with veterans.
John Stephens - January 6, 2012
I do not see how Dawk plays
eventually we all have to leave our comfort zone, yes I mean YOU Rahim and Quinton, and make some plays or in the professional world do well without our mentor ready to assist us. Take care of business and see what happens. GO BRONCOS!!!
the new Bradfather - January 5, 2012
Steelers pass-game can be potent.
Key is bringing pressure within 2-5 seconds without losing containment of Ben, bad ankle or no bad ankle.
Middlesex - January 5, 2012
if we hit Ben
we must sack him, that dirty bounder keeps so many plays alive smh
the new Bradfather - January 5, 2012
Von Mller needs to come back.
Middlesex - January 5, 2012
bereft of his cast, I agree
the new Bradfather - January 5, 2012
2-5 seconds = 2.5 seconds
Middlesex - January 5, 2012
Are we really to believe that
their best Center/lineman, their best RB, their best Strong Safety, their best Free Safety, their best DE, and their best MLB aren’t playing in a playoff game when the QB is obviously injured to some extent?
Of course not.
Middlesex - January 5, 2012
there is a little
Belichick “gamesmanship” in their report, that’s how it has been for quite some time
the new Bradfather - January 5, 2012
Yeah
Tomlin has a bit of that in him. He doesn’t give ANY help to an opposing team. That goes as far as not even saying a cross word about an opponent in interviews. He always praises his opponent the same whether it be the Packers or the Rams.
John Stephens - January 6, 2012
Pouncey's set back is a big deal
With Big Ben hobbled, losing Pouncey (or having him playing, but ineffectively) could be huge. If Ben is even a little gimpy, pressure in his face will only make Dumervil and Miller better. Could really hurt their blitz pick up as well.
shasta77 - January 5, 2012
yep. THIS is important
Whidbey Bronco - January 5, 2012
Cast free Von + a limp Big Ben = 3 sacks
Damn I wish he was healthy for this game. Is it selfish of me to ask him to cut that sucker off for this one game.
OrangeRhino - January 5, 2012
Where did you hear Von will be cast free?
si_ice - January 5, 2012
Pretty sure he was just dreaming... But it's a darn good dream.
Poster_Formerly_Known_As_Royal_Fan - January 5, 2012
Yes, just a dream.
OrangeRhino - January 5, 2012
Tebow needs Some wide recievers
Tebow would have a better passer rating if he had good Wide receivers and Deion sanders said get Tebow some weapons. Im Mad that they calling him a bad QB and he doesn’t even have good receivers.
Mercenot - January 5, 2012
yawn
Whidbey Bronco - January 5, 2012
I know, right?
How dare he point out any other deficiency in the passing game OTHER than the QB.
We all know that any criticism of the components of the passing game outside of Tim Tebow means that you’re a Tim Tebow apologist.
AlwaysRightSometimes - January 6, 2012
Demaryius is excellent
Decker can be if he takes more interest in studying his playbook than sexing up his hot girlfriend, Matt Willis, I really don’t know…
the new Bradfather - January 5, 2012
heh
Matt Willis is Eric Decker’s girlfriend?
tunesmith - January 6, 2012
you misunderstood the placing
of my comma, that would be awkward to say the least
the new Bradfather - January 6, 2012
lol
Calikula - January 6, 2012
D Thomas isn't excellent... yet
He still doesn’t run great routes because he pretty much just ran GO routes at GT. He doesn’t attack the ball the way a #1 receiver should, and he gives up on the ball sometimes mid-air. According to the coaches he runs wrong routes still too – and occassionally gets the dropsies…
But he CAN be excellent I think. Looking forward to him continuing to grow into a great #2 and maybe one day #1.
AlwaysRightSometimes - January 6, 2012
this is fair
I look forward to the perpetual progression of this offense and our team as a whole, this is but the tip of the iceberg my friends, we have a great future!
the new Bradfather - January 6, 2012
Agreed... VERY bright future!
AlwaysRightSometimes - January 6, 2012
So Von is Cast-free?
Whidbey Bronco - January 5, 2012
No...Fingers are free.
bfree2bronc - January 5, 2012
shoot when I was 14
I cut a cast off my ankle so I could skate in a competition. Boy was my Mom pissed! So was my Dr.
CenCalBronco - January 5, 2012 via mobile
I just hope Dawkins is ready...
Bruton played well Sunday, but Dawkins is something special, old age and all.
AlwaysRightSometimes - January 6, 2012
I agree! he has had a hell of a run.
Be nice to hear this ones for Dawk!!!
CenCalBronco - January 6, 2012 via mobile
I seriously doubt Dawk will be there
si_ice - January 6, 2012
WR's
I think Tebow needs some veteran WR’s.
broncosfan1129 - January 6, 2012
Get Santonio Holmes
John Stephens - January 6, 2012
Any QB of the future, Tebow or not, needs something more to work with at WR...
that’s the truth.
