The last Broncos playoff game

I spent a grand on first row field levels and took my dad with the agreement that he would take me to the Super Bowl in Detroit. Then I got greedy and bet a grand on the Broncos minus 2.5 over the Steelers; thinking that I had scored a free trip to watch my Broncos win the Super Bowl….Five years later with the Steelers coming back to town, I donated my tickets to charity, I’m not drinking or gambling, and I’m sitting right here in my living room getting itchy. My wife just asked me if being a sports fan is healthy or makes sense. Go Broncos!!!

I remember being down to the NYJ in the AFC Championship at half with Super Bowl tickets in hand. Sitting there in my dorm room about to explode. Luckily Elway brought us back and it was a happy ending!

I’ve not understood the lack of screens lately.

Seems like Tebow could have used a check-down back instead of just lobbing it out of bounds. I know Knowshon is the best receiving RB, but Ball and McGahee are no slouches.

That is conventional logic but I tend to disagree. first the box has been unbalanced to our left to keep..

Tebow from rolling that way. Also Corners are playing tight man wich is perfect because you can run them off. and finally we have not throw to a TE or back in about 4 weeks. I hope they try it.

Defense is our strength, and if we get a 3 and out it puts us ahead in the field position battle

With Tebow - I'm all for letting him warm up in the first half and get the ball first in the second!

This will be a true test

of the coaching staff. Are they willing to let the dogs out and take off the straps on the offense and let Tebow go. He can pass just needs to have the coaches call some plays that allow him to throw quick and get confidence. They can not go into this game beating him down by running QB draw after QB draw on 3rd and longer than 5.

If Tebow keeps playing like he has over last two weeks it won't matter one bit.

I think he is much better than that. With that said, I am not sold on him being our franchise QB. He had better step up today but I want the coaches to at least let him play and make an attempt.

Announcers for Falcons/Giants has been obnoxious

The constant questioning of Mike Smith going on 4th those times is obnoxious because Mike Smith made the correct calls both times. Not his fault the line failed to get a push on 3rd/4th and short all game long. The decision to go was correct, the execution was bad. Don’t blame the coaching for that.

Whereas Payton wisely went for it all day yesterday and his team executed properly and he was praised for it. I just wish the talking heads would analyze WHY it’s right/wrong mathematically rather than throwing around meaningless phrases like “make a statement by going for it” and garbage like that.

Alright, rant OVER. Go Broncos! :)
