Just before Tim Tebow took the snap, faked a hand-off to Willis McGahee and threw a bullet to Demaryius Thomas for an 80-yard touchdown pass, I said on twitter that this could be a legendary drive - for the Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos. It turned out to be just one play, a legendary play, that propelled the Broncos into a primetime matchup with the New England Patriots and Tim Tebow permanently into Broncos lore forever.
In a game that had plenty of everything - offense, defense, bad calls and turnovers - Tim Tebow did what many said he could not do. He beat the best defense in the NFL with his arm.
There is plenty of kudos to go around, from the offensive line, to the defense, to Demaryius Thomas, it is Tebow that deserves credit for today. Not just for what he did on the field, but for what he has had to listen to off of it. Devoid of the cushion most young quarterbacks get, Tebow was able to pull off what every team wants their young QB to do - he won a playoff game, making the plays, making the throws, making the decisions that won a football game, that put 29 points on the board, that beat the defending AFC Champs.
Enjoy it, Broncos fans, and be on the lookout for MHR Radio TONIGHT.

Who'd of thought this would of happened at the start of the season?

Nobody!
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
Who'd of thought this would of happened during the bye week?
Poster_Formerly_Known_As_Royal_Fan - January 8, 2012
Um
I did predict the Broncos win the division at 8-8.
Did not expect them to win their first playoff game however. Nor did I think Tebow would be the prime mover here.
Fly Agaric - January 8, 2012
Me too
But when we started 1-4… oh damn it.
Fabio Broncos - January 8, 2012
Beat New England!!!!!
Lost Winter - January 8, 2012
We can do that. Tebow and tghe running game did pretty good against their defense...
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
Hi John
Thanks for the thread. Looking forward to MHR radio tonite. What a great season!! What a great Win. Broncos and Steelers will be forever tied together in NFL playoff history.
Sean in Pa. - January 8, 2012
great write up, but Pitt isn’t defending super bowl champs.
Great play from everyone except for Mcgahee. So happy for this year!
Bustos - January 8, 2012
Yeah I noticed that too, should be defending AFC champs.
Either way, good write up, and hell of a freakin game
LiteUpThatHalo - January 8, 2012
I'm still hoarsh from screaming!!! We win!
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
cannot speak
Whidbey Bronco - January 8, 2012
I've never in my life seen anything remotely close to this...
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
I'm harsh from screaming, too.
Particularly after the last play. A playoff win? Are you kidding me? So this is cloud 9!
Orange Rush - January 8, 2012
Worth it, Bill
Fabio Broncos - January 8, 2012
The "Legend" here is the whole team
Tebow delivered, but it was a nice-tasting flavor of his success during our 6-game winning streak: no mistakes, made some brilliant throws when needed, kept the D off kilter. The good news for the Broncos is Tebow really doesn’t have to do this all by himself.
neumdaddy - January 8, 2012
But hot damn, am I so freaking excited!
What a finish. I’m still seeing blue and orange after that.
neumdaddy - January 8, 2012
Tebow had the best game of his short career so far...I don't want to hear no Bullshit....
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
From the media that is...
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
You'll probably hear some
But it doesn’t matter. Denver is moving on, Pittsburgh is eliminated. Booyah, pessimists!
neumdaddy - January 8, 2012
Wow did those refs try to take that from us or what?
Whidbey Bronco - January 8, 2012
Yeah back to back facemasks in the same play are u f@@kin kidding me?
Calikula - January 8, 2012
Demaryius Thomas hooked a finger in the defenders face mask on the last play
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
He didn't spin the head or anything with it so I think it's technically a legal graze
Poster_Formerly_Known_As_Royal_Fan - January 8, 2012
they usually don’t call it on stiff arms unless it’s blatant. If Tebow was Brady, you know that would’ve been called.
Bustos - January 8, 2012
Yeah...
Offensive facemasks are only called when extremely blatant (i.e. the defender’s head is jerked in another direction). Kind of like what the Steelers did to Tebow… twice… on the same play.
Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
Congrats Broncos and Broncos fans
This has got to be one of the best and un-expected victories I have seen in my 50 years
I cant think of 1 person who actually gave you a chance and you have proven everyone wrong
Good luck next week and continue to roll up in NE

We have been watching and hearing about that for a year

Tebow making the staff believe and DT is back!
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
I disagree theres quite a lot to say
but even so, Im speechless!!!
GO BRONCOS!!!!
Calikula - January 8, 2012
Who do you put on the duds besides the ref?
Kind of a lopsided edition, if you ask me….
Troy Hufford - January 8, 2012
Mays
Calikula - January 8, 2012
Agreed
He had a tough game today.
wiebrod - January 8, 2012
He can fill the Duds column.
BroncosBassist - January 8, 2012
Hate to say it but McGahee was a dud today too
Calikula - January 8, 2012
Yeah, but the Broncos aren't where they are without his season.
We won, so he gets a pass today.
But don’t let it happen again, bub.
Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
He was a "dud"
because the Steelers committed to stopping the run, daring Tebow to beat them through the air, which he did.
spock - January 8, 2012
and 2 fumbles, one of which set up the tying score for the Steelers
did you miss that?
Calikula - January 8, 2012
No, just forgot it
You’re right, he was a dud.
spock - January 8, 2012
True
Fumbles == painful performance.
BroncosBassist - January 8, 2012
We had some lopsided editions during the losing streak.
Lopsided the other way is a-okay by me.
Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
I hate to say it, but McGahee belongs in the Duds section.
He fumbled twice tonight and the one we lost was a key play in Pittsburgh coming back to tie it. Hopefully he can bounce back next week.
the_prodigal_fan - January 8, 2012
Bleh I just wrote the exact same thing before i read ur comment

Tebow was super humble.
Lady Gaga thinks he looks like a ******* champion.
Lost Winter - January 8, 2012
What about Quinton Carter today??!
1 Int and plenty of open field tackles. I think we’ve at least found one of our Safeties of the future in him. Money all day.
orange&blue_aussie - January 8, 2012
agreed
I need to see him do that more consistently… but today was a FINE start!
PaleHorse78 - January 8, 2012
+1

Orange Rush - January 8, 2012
Believe it or not but Bruton was tits today just like the last couple of weeks...
This young man has matured alot in the last few weeks…
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
I agree with that
orange&blue_aussie - January 8, 2012
Hmmm that 1 was typed as "hash 30"
Formating fail… Bruton was strong today….
orange&blue_aussie - January 8, 2012
I agree too
there were times when I had to rub my eyes to see if it was Bruton or Dawk out there. B Dawks tutelage was witnessed today from our Safeties.
PaleHorse78 - January 8, 2012
TRUE STORY!!!!
Ladies and gentlemen….. I was so excited after the game winner, I LITERALLY passed out from excitement / shock from worrying so bad before. I blacked out, saw stars, and collapsed into a head of nothingness. Oh well…. my sacrifice to see this team I love beat the Steelers!!!
God Bless Everyone!!!!
PaleHorse78 - January 8, 2012
you're a maniac
T.Dot_Bronco - January 8, 2012

I screamed so loud…. and ran around so hard, I zapped myself in jubilation.
PaleHorse78 - January 8, 2012
you shall hensforth be known
as PaleHorse “The Animal”
T.Dot_Bronco - January 8, 2012
I'd rather be called that than the pussy - LOL!!!
My wife and daughter just thought I was goofin, and started laughing at me until she saw my eyes roll back in my head. Seriously though…. I’ve never passed out in my life before today…. I was happy, but I’d be lying if I told you it wasn’t kinda scary.
PaleHorse78 - January 8, 2012
sounds like it bro
you may spontaneously combust if we win the Superbowl
T.Dot_Bronco - January 8, 2012
I'll do it happily if we can win!!!!
I was seriously praying and doing the Tebow in front of my TV for the 3rd and 4th quarters…. so worried the team from the last 3 weeks was going to rear it’s ugly ass head again…. but it was unfounded!!! Tim Tebow, DT, Doom, Von, and Big Daddy Ayers are the true animals!!!
PaleHorse78 - January 8, 2012
I was kind of like that
when Italy won the World Cup
T.Dot_Bronco - January 8, 2012
It's a strange feeling for sure
Did my energy leave my body…. fly across the USA to Denver… and enter Tebow/DT on that final play??? I’d like to think so. ;-)
PaleHorse78 - January 8, 2012
Why so serious?
It’s just football.
Lost Winter - January 8, 2012
Because it's more than that to me
Those guys on the field are my brothers…. I hurt when they hurt….. I weep when they weep. I was so happy to see the monkey lifted off of our D, Tim Tebow, Demaryius Thomas, EVERY PLAYER on the team, I collapsed in a fury of emotion.
PaleHorse78 - January 8, 2012
Thus

Pale, I was sreaming so loud I'm hoarse now...WOW!
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
AMAZING BFree!!!!
We are a band of brothers my man….. nothing will EVER take this win from us (even though the refs were…. once again…. trying to).
PaleHorse78 - January 8, 2012
I like the way they let the play around the LOS play out though...No holding calls
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
True
but I’m getting damn sick of these facemask no calls.
PaleHorse78 - January 8, 2012
Yep...
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
I see it like Vick and roughing calls
If you are going to make it hard to be tackled, you are going to get tackled hard. That was like “in the grasp” for John Elway. Sometimes you wanted the call but most of the time you didn’t . John was usually back out of the grasp pretty quickly!
Sean in Pa. - January 8, 2012

SDcat09 - January 8, 2012

but I was seriously light headed after the game. Similar to when you stand up too fast after sitting a long time. Stunned doesn’t even come close to how I was feeling.

How bout that D on the Steelers final drive
instead of folding, they amped it up and got the save for us

broncofaninIL - January 8, 2012
While Tebow played great …
it couldn’t have happened without the receivers actually catching most of the balls that came their way. This was a team win.
frankencrank - January 8, 2012
true.
I had to wonder about Decker. When he went out, our passing game was sharp.
Orange Rush - January 8, 2012
It couldn't have happened without that DEFENSE!
dagdajones - January 8, 2012
I really thought...
Tebow caught fire because his teammate went down. I couldn’t stop thinking, Tebow won’t let Decker’s sacrifice be in vain. Hope Decker is back soon. Thomas is going to be triple covered Saturday, although then Tebow will run it down their throats. Meh. Toss up. Still Decker is an incredible player, Royal really stepped up, though that isn’t a surprise, not to me at least.
Love Hope Hero - January 8, 2012
Without the McGahee fumble we'd of won this game out right in real time!
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
yep
probably if Champ comes down with that pick too.
PaleHorse78 - January 8, 2012
Wasn't Champs game to save...It was DT and Tebow's!
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
I'm not sure Champ did'nt save the game
That pass deflection at the end of the game was huge and everyone seems to have forgotten it. Carter (I think it was him) looks like he has the wrong angle and if Champ does not make that play I think Wallace catches it and walks into the endzone.
Snowbum007 - January 9, 2012
Well threre's that
dagdajones - January 8, 2012
yeah, but that wouldn't have been as much fun
and winning this way gave us a couple more items for the record books.
Besides if we won in regulation PaleHorse78 might not have gotten the chance to pass out ;-)
RichBoysInk - January 8, 2012
Just an incredible game.
It was frustrating to watch the 2nd half unfold, knowing Tebow was hot, but they just wouldn’t unleash him. So happy he struck before it was too late. This was an incredible experience, especially since I in no way thought they would win today.
Orange Rush - January 8, 2012
We just witnessed young Timmy Tebow become a man today!!!
PaleHorse78 - January 8, 2012

I asked her why she isn’t dating him.
Her response: “He doesn’t put out.”
Fly Agaric - January 8, 2012
My guess is NE is not a confident as they were the first match up…
that “beat us by the pass” defense doesn’t look so sound now. That was the philosophy of the Steelers, as I saw it, and look what it got them.
frankencrank - January 8, 2012
Yes
The Steelers offense was scaring the living daylights out of me…. our D became men today in the face of adversity.

bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
my bad...Congratulations Bronco Country!!
ENsDad27 - January 8, 2012
I’m more confident playing the Patriots than I was the Steelers. The biggest question mark will not be our ability to move the ball, but our ability to hold onto it. The turnovers in the last game (3 in the second quarter if memory serves me correctly) were killers.
This will also be a tough test for Allen and the defense.
SSMT - January 8, 2012
I think we match up better against teams like the Steelers
than we do against teams like the Pats….we’ve struggled against all the high otcane offenses we’ve played this year. We’ll hace to change that next week
T.Dot_Bronco - January 8, 2012
Maybe...
I think the opposite is true. I think the strong defenses are our bigger challenges. Today we beat the best, the Ravens are the only AFC Playoff team I’m kinda scared to see us play… Go Houston but more importantly GO DENVER! We face McDaniels in the next chapter of what is becoming an increasingly coincidental and amazing story/playoff run. Then all goes well we might make it back to the AFC Championship with Kubiak on the sidelines. Then the thing I’ve been drooling over since the Pack won last year, XXXII revisited and hopefully total deja vu.
Truthfully my friend I’m so excited that I think I just orange and BLUE myself.
Love Hope Hero - January 8, 2012
well played sir
T.Dot_Bronco - January 8, 2012
Our QB isn't injured
And our defense doesn’t allow points, just yards. We’ll be fine.
Just make sure Tebow plays all 4 quarters this time around. I’m not even trying to troll. You didn’t against the Steelers (4th quarter) and they were able to tie it. That last drive by Ben? I’m sure Brady at least gets in field goal range for Gostkowski, if not score a TD altogether.
Oh….and we have a running game. You hear about this Stevan Ridley guy? : ) SEC Speed, and stuff.
Man, I’m too hyped for this game.
Tai - January 8, 2012
Does that make you first
in the Pain in the Ass category? get it while its hot!!!
broncofaninIL - January 8, 2012
Holy Smokes!
What a game!
I totally confess that I did not believe.
But I have seen the light. Tebow looked great. A lot of his passes that were off the mark were usually off because he was putting the ball in a place to make it difficult for the defense to get to. Very impressed with Tebow. In total disbelief right now.
Fly Agaric - January 8, 2012

Ok time for my crow! Like I said last week, the Broncos had to step up on offense to win today, and they did! Tebow and DT were fantastic all game long, and the D stepped up when necessary. Great game! Time to show the Patriots that we’re for real. Playoff football baby! GO BRONCOS!

Im not too sure what the hell your trying to say, but its bordering on trollish and taking multiple jabs at religion. So you can take that and eff off dude if youre just here to stir the pot
Calikula - January 8, 2012
I'm pretty sure he was being facetious / ironic regarding the media's insistence on making everything about Tebow about religion...
Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
Thats not irony, its sarcasm
and it sounded pretty trollish to me. Of course, its hard to convey sarcasm on line
Calikula - January 8, 2012
So glad
That we don’t have to complain about the officiating. Two missed face-mask calls and the bad call on the incomplete pass that was really a fumble.
So glad the Broncos showed pluck and just won, baby.
Fly Agaric - January 8, 2012
Thats the Winter for you
Bad refs on that crew!
NYCBronx - January 8, 2012
These last couple abysmal years...
have grown me accustom to us blowing the game late. We would usually make a costly turnover late or our defense would just bend over and let the opponent walk into the end zone. Once McGahee fumbled I said, “and here we go again”. But these are not the same Broncos of the past. NOT EVEN CLOSE! Congrats to our team. They played lights out today and came to play. Bring on the Patriots. Go Broncos!
ps-Tebow is the first to throw for 300 yards against the number 1 defense! What a great time to have your first 300 yard game of the season!!

Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
He's not the only one!
Redman, the running back who started in absence of Mendenhall, sexually assaulted a 15-year-old when he was 18. Crazy stuff, yo.
Fly Agaric - January 8, 2012
I'm not sure about the exact circumstances of the Redman case...
Given that he was allowed to plead guilty to a 4th degree charge, I’m not sure what he may have done. It should be noted that while 18 is the age of full consent in Maryland, there is a “within 3 years” statute, so 15 and 18 would be legal. I’m not making excuses. It’s entirely possible he committed assault. It’s possible the DA was making an example of him. I don’t know.
If you have any links, please share.
Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
You know as much as I do
But it still bothers me. Yeah, I’m a jock and a sports fan. But I’m also a feminist. Drives me crazy the sense of entitlement some players have with women.
Fly Agaric - January 8, 2012
He was probably an 18 having sex with a consented female until the parents got wind of it...Nearly ended his career though...
And that’s called focus…
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
Yeah...
Sports Illustrated had a story about a guy in Oklahoma that happened to. He had consensual sex with a girl who told him she was 15 (he was 17, I think). She was younger. She didn’t want to press charges and testified that she lied to him. The DA threw the book at him. Derailed his entire life.
Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
He needs a bigger hat, far to small a hat for BIG ben
70fan70 - January 8, 2012
I thought he was a john
not a pimp
T.Dot_Bronco - January 8, 2012
Love that hat
SDcat09 - January 8, 2012
so that's what a rapist's uniform looks like?
DaLostBoy4 - January 8, 2012
"I wanna roll with your mob if you'll let me."
NYCBronx - January 8, 2012
"Justin Timberlake called
He wants his hat back"
SDcat09 - January 8, 2012
He brought THAT suit because he was cocky
because he was cocky, and thought he was going to the podium as a winner. He just made himself look pompous, and presumptuous. HA! you deserved to lose Big Ben.
JChase8410 - January 9, 2012
Kudos to McCoy
I usually rag on the conservative play calling by McCoy but he set up the Steelers Defense all day for this one play. I don’t think there were many pass plays on first down for most of the game. What a call with perfect execution. GO BRONCOS!
lobouno - January 8, 2012
HUGE DAY for McCoy and Tebow
the chains came off today and the entire offense stepped up, coaches included. NO FEAR today
70fan70 - January 8, 2012
As bad as it pains me to agree....I agree....
Broncotodd - January 8, 2012
Did everybody else fall and pound the ground when Champ dropped that int??
Whidbey Bronco - January 8, 2012
no
I was just glad he broke the play up
T.Dot_Bronco - January 8, 2012
Yes.....I was like. how many freakin chances are we going to give them...
Broncotodd - January 8, 2012
I moaned
Then screamed and thanked him for making a great play to break up the pass…..
Defense!
Sean in Pa. - January 8, 2012
Tebow has that effect...
The immaculate conception.
Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
exactly
Whidbey Bronco - January 8, 2012
#24 was lights out today!
Whidbey Bronco - January 8, 2012
Bookmarked the Tebow to DT highlight on nfl.com
Will get me going in the morning for weeks to come.
Matt In Canada - January 8, 2012
congrats to you guys from a Cowboys fan
but y’all probably hate us
somebodyquiet - January 8, 2012
Yes
But it’s OK. Even teams we hate have classy fans.
Sorry about your season.
Fly Agaric - January 8, 2012
yes
yes we do
T.Dot_Bronco - January 8, 2012
F THE COWBOYS.
Thanks though. ;]
Matt In Canada - January 8, 2012
Ditto . . .
Schwerepunkt - January 8, 2012
Bragging rights - I posted the stat of the week in the first quarter thread after
steelers scored the field goal , that all teams that scored first this week lost…
(when you get it right once in a while, you have to trumpet it).. and I was probably one of the first posters to raise the possibility of broncos making it to playoffs at 8-8 after the loss to patriots
Kumar_98 - January 8, 2012
This game today presents a real problem for EFX
Tebow is clearly #1 next year. What do they do for a back up?
frankencrank - January 8, 2012
nice problem to have
Whidbey Bronco - January 8, 2012
agreed
70fan70 - January 8, 2012
Kellen Moore
5th round
Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
I actually really like this idea. I think Moore will be good.
Dgood - January 8, 2012
Quinn is gone but ...
Quinn is gone but I would like to see Adam Weber get a chance at backup and may be draft another left handed QB in the draft. All time winning game record holder Kellen Moore from Boise State is a lefty and is more of a pro set type QB.( He broke Sam Bradfords record this year.
lobouno - January 8, 2012
the real problem at QB is....
what type of backup do you get? A Tebow clone or the traditional style?
70fan70 - January 8, 2012
Best QB available at the time you want to pick.
emd2k3 - January 8, 2012
Mmmmmmm, this gravy is delicious!
To me once we got to 8 wins I thought every thing else is gravy. But those last three games of the regular season were an abomination! But we got in and now we prosper! Whoa!!!!!
Hats off to this team, no matter what. What a roller coaster ride of a season. What a script. I mean this is better than a movie. Except maybe the one with Kathy Ireland as kicker ;) Haha just kidding. Gonna enjoy this one all week.
Safety Blitz - January 8, 2012
I predict the following:
McCoy goes to Jacksonville and drafts Griffin because he has come to like the concept.
Broncos try to get Urban Meyer as OC (but fail).
frankencrank - January 8, 2012
Ain't Meyer the OSU coach now?
You could be right about McCoy though. He seems to have become a commodity.
Safety Blitz - January 8, 2012
Yes!
lobouno - January 8, 2012
Speaking of Meyer!
Both of Meyer’s best developed QBs in college are heading up playoff teams this year. Tebow from Florida and …….Alex Smith with the 49ers who played at Utah under Coach Meter.
lobouno - January 8, 2012
great point
70fan70 - January 8, 2012
i now hate the fact McJedi will be on the sidelines in the patriots game
We will probably have the same media attn (orton-tebow) similar to the other game…
Kumar_98 - January 8, 2012
Yes, this will be the story line I am sure
but the real line will be whether the Patriots approach last time will work in view of this performance.
frankencrank - January 8, 2012
Don't be shocked if the real story...
… is the Patriots illegally taping Broncos’ practices.
Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
Hey now : (
Tai - January 8, 2012
Sox fan, eh?
Robert. Andino.
Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
Lol
I can’t lie, I had to look him up cause I didn’t get to really watch most of those games and didn’t know who he was. Game 162, I was in a bar, and I think I was all just pissed off at what just happened. Oh yea, then they switched to Longoria’s HR (it was him, right?) against the Yankees….not a fun night. At all. : (
Tai - January 8, 2012
It was the best night ever.
Who’s got two thumbs and is an O’s fan?
This guy.
Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
LMAO
now that is funny
70fan70 - January 8, 2012
Just remember
it was Denver turnovers that changed that game a few weeks back against the PATS.
I am actually thinking we could see another great game next week. Especially if the weather gets bad, and we can fall back on the run game.
Today we threw to win, but we are built to run the ball and play great defense. In the playoffs that is normally a winning formula, well before the new “passing is exciting” rules that is.
And today at least ONE HUGE PASS was very exciting. !!!!!!
70fan70 - January 8, 2012
Wow! I guess Tebow listened to Elway . . .
He certainly pulled the trigger today. Good on him. McGahee needs to stop fumbling the damned ball! And the NFL needs to stop sending Zebras who cannot see to ref Bronco games.
On to Foxborough! Doom and Von need to show Brady what blades of grass look like up close and personal.
Schwerepunkt - January 8, 2012
I want "PULL THE TRIGGER" engraved in marble and mounted above the lockerroom door.
Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
Fox-Borough...coincidence??? I think not!!!
knoepke84 - January 9, 2012 via mobile
I MUST APPOLOGIZE TO ALL the other BRONCO FANS
It took 29 not 28 points to WIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO BRONCOS and what an EPIC WIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
70fan70 - January 8, 2012
Congratulations -
You guys kicked ass today!
chiefsfan62 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Danke
Fly Agaric - January 8, 2012
thanks! Congrats on NOT landing McD!
Whidbey Bronco - January 8, 2012
thanks 62
70fan70 - January 8, 2012
yes, today we won even though we couldn't run
What is possible next week we we know we will be able to run?
frankencrank - January 8, 2012
This is a good point to make
Because this changes everything.
Fly Agaric - January 8, 2012
Absolutely possible to win next week
Even though I picked NO v NE in the SB this year…
Whidbey Bronco - January 8, 2012
Ended up with 131 yards rushing....
not a bad day at the office when the team passes for 316
broncofaninIL - January 8, 2012
TOTALLY off the subject but ....
how much trouble is Atlanta in?? Gave up a tom of draft picks for Jones and today they couldn’t score anything on offense.
It could definitely be worse Bronco fans :)
BRING ON NEW ENGLAND
70fan70 - January 8, 2012
They're YOUNG and solid in EVERY aspect... they'll be REALLY good VERY soon.
Whidbey Bronco - January 8, 2012
If that is true....
then what is the Denver upside potential? We have no where near the talent of an Atlanta.
I don’t know how far Denver goes now, but this experience is HUGE for this young team
70fan70 - January 8, 2012
We have a lot of players
that confidence could make a career’s worth of difference for. How many high draft picks do we talk about not living up to potential. This run could turn a decent team into a good one.
Sean in Pa. - January 8, 2012
no question!
Whidbey Bronco - January 8, 2012
great point
and the real immeasurable in football is ALWAYS the team aspect. If this team is as tight as it seems, very few changes can or need to be made.
70fan70 - January 8, 2012
I know a few former 1st rounders today lived up to their
potential in this game….. Ayers had a HUGE game and DT busted out !!!
Disturbed70 - January 8, 2012
Looks like they don't either...
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
They did the stupidity in the offseason by giving up so many draft picks for one player...
Only deserate teams make such a move as they did. The Falcon would have been better off focusing on the big picture and drafting accordingly…
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
ya like a couple defensive playmakers
hindsight of course
70fan70 - January 8, 2012
The Drive.... er... The Play!
BluffCityBronco - January 8, 2012 via mobile
YES
That’s that!
What a storied NFL career Tebow already has. What a great series to be a Bronco fan.
Fly Agaric - January 8, 2012
OMG!
The Lazy Dog tavern was alive and kicking…on the Steelers last few drives, the place erupted with a DEFENSE! chant and the steelers fans were screaming STEELERS in between us screaming DEFENSE…the astrological influences were right on for showing the momentum shifts…I posted them before the game and the Cancer Full Moon was on our side tonight..we grabbed the momentum and ran with it and the #1 Defense Steelers have now been Tebowed….let’s go knock the Patriots out of their misery and thank McDaniels for the two great #1 Draft Picks! Brady told Tebow after the game he beat us to hang tough and that we would see them again…now he gets his wish…LOL
Here’s the astrological influences thread:
http://www.milehighreport.com/2012/1/8/2691951/astrological-influences-of-a-wild-card-game
Brazenwood - January 8, 2012
I was just tellin my wife about you Brazenwood...
The stars have aligned and the Broncos are on their way up…It might not happen this year with being so young on both sides of the ball but we have something very big a brewing in Denver!
bfree2bronc - January 8, 2012
Congrats from the Cardinals blog
None of us like the Steelers, so watching you guys beat them like that just warmed our hearts.
Tebow looked great too, although the gameplan you guys had reminded me of one of those old timey ones where you only throw 15 times but all of those throws were 25/30+ yards downfield.
Good luck next week. Tebowmania must continue!
JoeCB1991 - January 8, 2012
Thanks man!
Paradise Valley native here…
Whidbey Bronco - January 8, 2012
GO SUNS!!!!!!
Whidbey Bronco - January 8, 2012
Um.
Nuggets.
But serious props to the Suns for demolishing a good-looking Blazers team the other night.
Fly Agaric - January 8, 2012
Our FO sucks worse than Al Davis's Raiders but I still love em.
Whidbey Bronco - January 8, 2012
I don't blame you
I’ve been a Suns fan since I started following basketball in the late ’80s.
But always Nuggets first. Hope things come around for your franchise. I <3 Nash. He’s Canadian! How could I not?
Fly Agaric - January 8, 2012
This is how the folks are acting on the other ACF West sights. (The Steelers fans though... totally classy)
Whidbey Bronco - January 8, 2012
Wow! What an asshole. Where the hell are her parents? That’s a casis bella for an asskicking right there!
Revshawn - January 8, 2012
What is that from WB?!?!
orange&blue_aussie - January 8, 2012
It was a ballgame in Texas, I think... from 2011.
Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
Houston

Tezcatlipoca - January 8, 2012
Thanks man
I’ve been googling. Did they ever find her?!?!?
orange&blue_aussie - January 9, 2012
I wonder if McCoy's stock just went up enough to be seriously considered for the Jags' Head Coaching gig...
Another game of data to occur, first.
neumdaddy - January 8, 2012
Man we had a good draft and if we hit another home run in the next draft then we will be in a good spot with good young players to develop.
Dennis Allen has done a stellar job with our defense. McCoy and Fox have shown that they can get out to an early lead if they would just take the reigns off and pull the trigger themselves. I loved the play action and throws on first/second down. Thanks Elway for saying that the play calling needed to be evaluated and for encouraging Tim to pull the trigger.
BroncoMath101 - January 8, 2012
Man we just SHREDDED the #1
defense in the NFL…. feels pretty damn good! Excellent game plan today, excellent execution, and made the big plays!
Former #1st round draft picks shined today!! Been waiting for Ayers to step up, and he did big time today! DT showing why he was a first rounder. Tebow “pulling the trigger”. WOW If this team is showing glimpses of the future…. LOOK OUT NFL!!!
Disturbed70 - January 8, 2012
I was jumping up and down and yelling!!!
And I am a Lions fan. Now, because of Tebow (who I didn’t like while he was at Florida), I am also a Broncos fan. The same goes for my mom…who also yelled when Thomas got in the endzone…haha.
Very happy with what happened today!!!!
akadwriter - January 8, 2012
Lost my voice
But I will find it tomorrow at work again when all the Raider fans come up and tell me how amazing the game was……..hahahaha….
What a game. That is Tebow unleashed. They’ve been smart to give him time to develop, now the sky is the limit.
So impressed with the heart of this team. Win or lose, this is one of my favorite years to watch Broncos football, and I remember back as far as the 77 super bowl.
Super Bowl Champs till we ain’t!
Berserker13 - January 8, 2012
Congrats on the win
It was a tough game from my perspective but congrats to you and your team today.
