I’m really interested to see if we stick with Irving or not, and if so, how he will perform. The hope is much better than Mays, although I wouldn’t be surprised if we stick with Mays as backup (or Hagan).
We need a solid vet behind Irving (if he’s the guy we go with) for insurance purposes.
I liked the article discussing other priorities outside of Tebow’s development. We really are hurting in several different places. Dawkins retirement (possibly) would really hurt us. While we are giving him the time to figure it out, we can only wait so long before we move on.

He said the only way he plays next year is if we bring him back.
Hopefully we do even if its just for the leadership. And being that his contract is up now would be a good time to decide something.

Would it make more sense to let Joe Mays and his salary go and acquire say maybe Dan Conner who is at least the same or better than Mays with upside?
Safety is one position EFX should aggressively attack in free agency, as well as Cornerback. Maybe with one pass rushing DT too…

With 27.88MIL of unused cap space the Broncos are in the drivers seat to upgrade some position's talent...
They could upgrade some of the 1-2 star talents with 2-3 star talent. Maybe get a younger 3 star CB for the 2 star aging Goodman, or, get a veteran Safety to help mentor the youth, or see fit to acquire a pass rushing DT with 4-6 years experience. A Guard maybe or even a RB that could complement McGahee in rotation. Releasing some the dregs will be vital to rebuilding this team. Get-r-done EFX…
