The Broncos have fallen "face first" on drafting former superstar defensive tackles in the past few years. Yes, defensive tackle is a huge opportunity for the Broncos but they are best served filling that role with the upcoming draft and using free agency for defensive backs and other holes.
Bunkley was a good pickup. But I agree, I'd like to see a DT in the first.
My favorite DT so far is Poe.

Valid point. I like Poe as well. A couple other good guys, even if they wait until the 2nd round and get Linebacker in the first round

I would love to grab Poe or Martin to be our NT and then grab a pass rushing UT like Derek Wolfe later.

Poe probably has the biggest upside out of all the DTs in the draft.
The best part about that, is that the broncos have one of the better d-line coaches to coach him up along with Rio—who had Stroud/Henderson— and Fox.

yep. I'm excited to see what we do in the draft but tempering my expectations.
I thought for sure we would grab a DT last year and was upset when we didn’t. I don’t want to tie up too many emotions into it in case they don’t again this year.
I hope we are as good at evaluating talent at DT though as we are at WR and LB (still tbd)

agreed
other than Bunk…. it’s been yard trash. It’s high time we started drafting and grooming our own DT’s instead of taking chances on the DeWayne Robertson’s of the world. I guess Bannan wasn’t too bad… but he wasn’t a primary guy.
