Lets see Tannehill, Manning or Tebow?????

Choices , choices.

I'd rather have Weeden than Manning

Even if Manning could play for 3 more years. Weeden could play for a decade and Denver could pick him up after the 3rd round.

he'll be 39 in a decade, I doubt he'll play that long

only Favre played that long and don’t forget the only reason he’s playing football is because he blew his shoulder out pitching so it’s not like he’s coming in as a fresh young rookie either.

Can we bring down the banhammer on any stories about landing Manning or anything like that until it becomes a serious possibility?
Don't worry, Manning is not coming to Denver

He may not be going to any other team in 2012 either. I heard he has been cleared because his neck has healed up, which is good for him. But the nerve that runs to his triceps hasn’t fully regenerated and that is why he can’t put a zip on his throws. He can’t do it now, which means he won’t be able to do it in time for FA.

There is a very serious possibility that Manning may have to wait out the 2012 season before he can throw a football with enough velocity to be effective again.

Rockin the Tracks

Thanks Kirk. So 2014 is the year of the horse… That is exactly why this season, the year of the Dragon, will be Our first SB victory. Then We win two more in a row, having Our third consecutive SB win occur in the year of the horse. How’s that for optimism?

The stars are aligning!

I like it!

First of all, Why would Manning even want to come here?

Let’s see, a conservative run first offense with super creative Mike McCoy play calling (sarcasm). If I am Manning I don’t want to come to an offense like this.

I can’t even see this as a realistic possibility. If however it did happen I would hope that we trade Tebow out of respect for him. If we aren’t willing to commit to him then let the guy go be successful somewhere else.

It makes me sick that these kinds of stories will continue to dominate the headlines until well into the next season most likely.

I agree

and wouldn’t waste a lot of calories on this. It’s not happening for many reasons. Starting with the fact that Elway wants to build this team from the draft and will only obtain FAs at good value.

Well

We obviously would change our offense to something oriented around manning like we did for tebow.

Love how McCoy's offenses got us to

The playoffs despite a QB who can’t consistently hit a 5yd slant or anyother pass from game to game, play to play, but his NFL option offense is totally uncreative.

Gotta work with what you have.

"Todd McShay knows what he's doing" ha ha. That made me laugh.

Love dawkins loyalty. Hope he can retire on his own terms.

Seriously though, Mannings career is done. Lets not just do what Oakland did with Palmer.

If we make a move to bring in Manning, I will lose any faith that this front office knows what it's doing.

The guy is on the downside of his career if he can even play again at all. You give up NOTHING to get a guy with health issues as serious as a busted neck. One play and he could be done for good. And give up Tebow for a 2nd and a 5th? Yeah right. Tack a first onto that and call me back. The guy has tons of potential and puts asses in seats. A second and a fifth is insulting.

They give up the farm for Manning and count me off the EFX gravy train

What a retarded move. Can we just trade Tebow? Its obvious the FO doesnt want him. Let him do his thing on a team that will give him a chance to grow

aside from their HC choice I am loving what Jacksonville is doing.

If Tebow gets traded their they can count on me as a new fan.

just because some idiot reporter says it

only proves he has a bigger voice thanyou or me. Not that what he says means any moreabout what EFX is really going to do than some of the carp you or I say here. I mean if I say Elway was at Baylor watching RG3 no one cares. If Todd Mcshay says it or this reporter for 9News then it must be true. Give me a break. Stories and lies to try to get attention.

If it was true ESPN would have made it up or be reporting on it already

I have not seen this Schefter Report either

Yeah sorry

that was an initial shoot from the hip, knee jerk response from me. Im really sick of the QB controversy that our team has mired in since the retirement of #7.

Yeah.

Well not me since Elway retirement. Well kind of. I hated how we always tried to replace him with “the next Elway”. Since Tebow and all the “followers” came though I am soooooooo sick of the bickering back and forth about about him

I'd rather spend the money on Mario Williams then manning
And as much as I hate overspending on FA RBs

I would rather go and blow our stash on a FA RB than Manning. Getting a 36 year old QB with a serious neck injury does nothing for this team when there are holes everywhere else, like S, CB, RB, DT, slot WR, etc.

#2 DE of all time?

Hell yeah I want him over an almost paralyzed Manning.

I highly doubt Denver goes for Manning

Elway has said he wants to build through the draft, and being aggressive and smart in Free Agency. Spending alot of money on Manning isn’t “Smart”

Yesterday, on ESPN radio, Xanders said that the Broncos will address the QB spot via Free Agency and the Draft, which makes me think we’ll sign a veteran to backup Tebow, and then draft a guy later and let him compete with Weber.

Plus Miami and Washington will outbid us haha
Do you really think manning would be in it for the money?

No, not a chance, he would pick the team with the best chance to give him a ring, not who’s gonna pay him more.

Cool, thanks for tracks KK...

Rant SPorts is another you can cross of the list of having any freaking idea. And McShay knows what he is doing? In what? The guy is a complete hack, and what he knows about player and player development you can write on the back of a tylenol.

PS: Manning comes to Denver, then I won't be much of a fan anymore. But it won't happen, so everyone can take a breath,
