Careful, watch out for that pothole!
I wanted to attack this and get a better idea of these numbers by looking at any starting QB that has seen significant starting time since the year 2000. Specifically, I looked at the completion percentages of these quarterbacks from their first starting year to their second starting year. In other words, how much did they improve or digress in this specific category from year 1 to year 2 as a starter. Why do this? Well for all intents and purposes, Tim is going from a years worth of starts to his second full year. My only parameter was that each QB had to have at least 5 starts from year one to year two. Follow me after the jump and let's take a look at the results.
Currently Denver's Offensive Line has 9 players. The amount needed per team is 11. We have two long snappers, so we actually need 3 more Offensive Linemen.
Here is our current list of Offensive Linemen:
LT Ryan Clady
LG Zane Beadles
RG C.J. Davis
RT Tony Hills
LS Lonie Paxton
LS David Binn
Remember Chris Kuper is injured
Here is how I would adress our Offensive Line this offseason:
Re-sign:
LT Chris Clark
Sign:
So that when Chris Kuper is healthy again this will be our starting Offensive Line:
LT
1. Orlando Franklin
2. Chris Clark
LG
1. Geoff Hangartner
2. C.J. Davis
C
1. J.D. Walton
2. Manny Ramirez
RG
1. Chris Kuper
2. Zane Beadles
RT
1. Ryan Clady
2. Tony Hills
LS
1. Lonie Paxton
It's been a debate on MHR the last few weeks about when the Broncos should draft a Running Back if at all. I'm one of the people who believe EFX will draft at least one RB in the draft, and will do it rather early, in rounds 1 or 2. I know many believe against taking a RB early because of injury concerns, the idea we can get good backs in the later rounds, or that the RB position isn't even an area of need.
Let me try to persuade you some
This mock is based on the league-wide two-round mock I posted here:

2012 Bronco Draft
Round 1: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame: The safety pickings are slim here, and we can get a DT in Round 2. Plus, another WR would help Tebow tremendously.
Round 2: Brandon Thompson, DT, Clemson: Can be a good partner for Bunkley. A disruptive player.
Round 3: Markelle Martin, S, Oklahoma St: Runs a 4.47 40. Complete safety. Good hitter and good in coverage.
Round 4: Joe Adams, WR, Arkansas: Can replace Royal in the return game.
Round 5, Pick 1: Bobby Rainey, RB, Western Kentucky: Can be a late-round steal and good compliment to Willis McGahee.
Round 5, Pick 2: Asa Jackson, CB, Cal Poly: Good tackler, and can also help out in the return game.
Round 7: Chad Diehl, FB, Clemson: Great lead blocker for McGahee and Rainey.

Offense

Prior to the combine I have looked at what we have, what we need and what I think are the best options.
I think there are a number of FA from outside the Broncos camp that we should try and add, in addition to CJ Davis and Jason Hill, but not too many.
MHR friends, here we are at the tail end of a wonderful season. The official 2012-2013 year is about to start and I wanted to send this last year off with one final post. Thank you to everyone that took the time to respond to my questions. It really is fun to collect everyone's final thoughts and put something like this together.
Like last year this post was designed to go with the music as much I as I could fit it in. Since we all read at varying speeds I'm sure the combination of music and written word will make the experience different for each of you, but I hope you still enjoy the soundtrack. I decided to stick with the instrumentals as reading and listening at the same time kind of jacks with the flow.
You'll also notice that I went back into the MHR archives to get reactions from some of you, so thanks for helping out even if you didn't mean to! I think it makes the post a lot more personal to us.
Thank you all again for another great year and I look forward to seeing what next season has in store for us. As always, Go Broncos!

Hi guys this is the next chapter of my thoughts of what the offseason will bring to the Broncos and how the FO could find solutions for Denver roster needs.
This part is about Defensive ends depth.
Very exciting time of year, my fellow Broncos fans. The event that can make or break a draft prospect's stock is only a couple of days away. Free agency is shortly after that, being a short month of February. I will probably be posting this mock offseason along with 2 more before free agency starts. Hope you enjoy the reads.
